I recently had my bathtub removed and a shower installed in its place because my elderly father is moving in and has a hard time getting in and out of a tub. I called around and got two estimates. Even though Bath Planet cost a little more, I felt I made the correct decision. My initial appointment was with a field rep. He was very thorough with his presentation and brought several samples with him. At the end of our meeting, he told me the name of the project manager, who would contact me. Ms. Kyle contacted me, and we agreed to the start date of my project. A few days before the start date, Ms. Kyle called and said Mr. Tony would be the worker doing the project. During my initial meeting, I had stressed that I didn’t want the wallpaper on the adjacent walls to be removed. Mr. Tony did a spectacular job of replacing the tub with a beautiful shower and didn’t mess up the wallpaper. He worked two full days. At the end of the first day, he cleaned up as best as he could and even swept my foyer. After he completed the project, he did a fantastic job cleaning the bathroom and sweeping down the foyer again. I am very thankful and appreciative of the staff and workers at Bath Planet.

Feb 23, 2019: Bath Planet just finished remodeling my bath by taking out the tub and replacing it with a shower. It was a newly constructed home, but the builder wouldn't change the plans for us. They gave us a fair estimate, did the work in 2 days as estimated, and did a fantastic job. The installers worked hard and consistently, with hardly a break. Clean-up was good, and the results are fantastic. Since it was new construction, they didn't take out all the existing tile, as they would have for an older remodel, since they knew there wasn't any water damage behind the tile. They built up the wall where the tub was to match the existing tile depth and installed their shower walls over the top. They took care of taking out the existing shower doors so that I could donate them to someone else and even managed to take out the tub in one piece. I would highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Tub to shower conversion. David Cox was wonderful! Update: after our 48-hour wait to dry period, I took my first shower, and it was amazing. Plenty of room. The showerhead is awesome, and the floor never felt slick. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Katrina did an awesome job organizing this project and keeping me informed on who and when. Javan was great to work with, even though he did all the work. Ramon and I enjoyed watching the daily change from the old bathroom to the new bathroom. We had a crew on and off. Julian and Dillion did most of the demolition, not before Javan took out his side. They were very good at cleaning up their mess and disposing of it. I really appreciated their cleanup. Javan got to work after the demo and got the shower, floor, and toilet in for us. We were amazed that our bathroom could look bigger and so beautiful. Dillion and William came the last day to finish plumbing for the vanity, and they put the vanity in. They did a great job, and we appreciated them working on changing the spot where water access and drainage went to fit our vanity. If we ever want to do another project, you can bet we will be calling BathPlanet and Rock Solid Plumbing to do it. The whole process from Nik coming out to show us our options to the finished job was not without work from both sides, but it all worked out great. No complaints. And we love our new bathroom.
